Scott is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Utah State University where he has been since 2010. Prior to assuming his current position, he completed post-doctoral work at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Fort Collins, CO (2009-2010). He completed a Ph.D. at Colorado State University (2009), a Masters of Public Health at the University of Michigan (2004), and post graduate work at the CDC in Atlanta, GA (2002-2004). He is invested in seeing his graduate and undergraduate students in the lab succeed and contribute in the field of arthropod genetics and medical entomology. In his “spare time” you will find him busy with his wife and children, as well as enjoying time in the nearby mountains hiking, camping, mountain biking, and skiing.
